National Convention on the EU | Recommendation: Ukraine's Integration into the EU
Our Senior Research Fellow Jana Juzová has prepared a summary and recommendations based on the roundtable discussion of the National Convention on the EU held on 26 October 2022 on the topic "Ukraine's Integration into the EU". The Convention produced three recommendations based on the answers to the following questions: How can the EU and the Czech Republic support Ukraine in the post-war reconstruction and reforms necessary for EU integration? What tools does the EU have at its disposal for the deeper economic and political integration of Ukraine? Is the EU ready to fully integrate Ukraine and other candidate countries?

Naše seniorní výzkumná pracovnice Jana Juzová zpracovala shrnutí a doporučení vyplývající z diskuze kulatého stolu Národního konventu o EU konaného dne 26. října 2022 na téma „Integrace Ukrajiny do EU". Na konventu vznikla tři doporučení na základě zodpovězení následujících otázek: Jak mohou EU a Česká republika podpořit Ukrajinu v poválečné rekonstrukci a reformách nutných pro integraci do EU? Jaké nástroje má EU k dispozici pro hlubší ekonomickou a politickou integraci Ukrajiny? Je EU připravena plně integrovat Ukrajinu a další kandidátské státy? RTVS: Slovenia will have a new president. What decided the victory of Natasha Pirc Musar?
Nataša Pirc Musar won Sunday's second round of the presidential election, receiving 54% of the votes. She defeated her rival, former Foreign Minister Andrej Logar. Musar will replace current president Borut Pahor, who has been unable to run for two terms. Our analyst Žiga Faktor, head of the Brussels office, also commented on the situation.
