North Korea entered the war against Ukraine on Russia's side. Kiev expects an appropriate response from its partners. According to President Volodymyr Zelenskyj, there is evidence that not only workers but also military personnel are heading to Russia from North Korea. It is clear that North Korean soldiers can be used as cannon fodder. In all likelihood, however, they will first have to be replaced by Russian troops, for example in Kursk - but in such a way that surplus Russian troops can be sent to Ukraine.
