Strengthening the capacity of civilian activists in Crimea to fundraising, disseminating independent information and advocacy at European level

The project is implemented in cooperation with Internews Ukraine and supported by the Program of Transformation Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.

Summary:

EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy, building on the experience from projects implemented with the support of MZV TRANS in 2014, 2015 and 2016 implemented a project in 2017 focused on the needs of a small community of remaining Ukrainian activists who are still living and working in Crimea. The main objective of the project was to provide a community of Ukrainian activists, working in local organizations, or independently, tools for civic activity directly in Crimea and also at European level. In cooperation with Ukrainian partner Internews Ukraine, the following project activities were carried out: advocacy mission to Brussels, fundraising training for Ukrainian activists and dissemination of information on Crimea through articles published on Pravosmi.net
