iDNES.cz: Will the EU find a common solution to the energy crisis?
The current price stability of the gas market does not mean the end of problems with possible shortages. The European Commission has therefore prepared a series of measures to stabilise the market and ensure that there will be plenty of gas next year. Our senior research fellow Kateřina Davidová commented on what measures are on the table and how individual countries will respond to the crisis.

CRoPlus: The raw materials needed for a clean energy transition exist. The challenge is the time needed to gain them
The transition to clean energy requires sufficient critical resources to enable this transformation. Consumption of these materials is expected to grow significantly in the future. How will the EU's decarbonisation efforts evolve in the future? This topic was discussed by our researcher Michal Hrubý in the Studio Leonardo programme of Český rozhlas Plus. According to Hrubý, the problem is not the lack of resources, but the time it takes to obtain the raw materials. In this context, he draws attention to a new legislative initiative of the European Commission, which aims to better coordinate the time of extraction of critical materials.

iRozhlas: EU energy milestones: covid, green alternative, Russian attack and the search for consensus
iROZHLAS has prepared an overview of the energy measures discussed by the European Union in the context of the energy crisis. The review shows that the EU's securing of the energy market is not in line with the actions taken by national states. This inconsistency was also commented on by our researcher Michal Hrubý, who pointed to the need to proceed to a comprehensive solution at the level of the European Commission.

Conference: Building momentum for CCS deployment in the CEE region
