TN.cz | Recognition of diplomas from Member States still not working in the EU

Education is one of the topics on the agenda ahead of the upcoming elections to the European Parliament. The Member States themselves should increase the amount of funding flowing into schools. For example, the recognition of university diplomas, could be worked on. Zuzana Krulichová, a researcher at EUROPEUM Institute, described the issue for the main evening broadcast of TV Nova.

It is often very complicated, very lengthy, even when it comes to excellent European universities. Some graduates who return to the Czech Republic and want to work here, for example for the state, find it very difficult to participate in the employment process.

Research Fellow

Zuzana Krulichová is a research fellow in the Global Europe programme at EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy and PhD student at the Department of European Studies, Charles University. She holds an MA in International Relations from Leiden University and an undergraduate degree in Area Studies from Charles University. Generally, she is interested in EU foreign policy and the role of member states in its development, relations between the EU and Indo-Pacific, and global infrastructure projects, such as the BRI or Global Gateway and non-coercive influence in IR. Before starting the PhD programme, she worked for People in Need.
