Čro Plus: Priorities of the French Presidency and meeting with the V4
What can the upcoming French Presidency of the Council of the European Union mean for the Czech Republic, especially given that it will be immediately followed by the Czech Presidency? Can it be assumed that France and the V4 countries will converge on energy issues and move away from, for example, Germany, which is striving for nuclear-free and carbon-free energy? iRozhlas: The new government means the end of the leaning towards Orbán, but not a radical change. The EU presidency will be crucial
In an article for iRozhlas, our researcher Vít Havelka contributed an analysis of European politics in the context of the new government, the Visegrad Group and the upcoming EU presidency. In his opinion, there will be a radical change in the rhetoric and the way of negotiation on the European stage, but we cannot expect big differences in the Czech vote.

PRESS RELEASE: EUROPEUM has a new leadership. It will be led by experienced diplomat Zdeněk Beránek and Martin Vokálek
The EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy will be headed by a new director from October 1st. Zdeněk Beránek, who has worked for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and served as Deputy Ambassador in Washington, has been appointed the new Director. After seven years, he replaces Vladimír Bartovic, who has been with the Institute since 1999. Also, current Deputy Director Martin Vokálek will be in a new position as Executive Director.
