ČT24 | Division into political groups in the European Parliament
The Czech Republic has 21 MEPs in the European Parliament. The ANO movement has the most representatives, followed by the Spolu coalition. In the European Parliament, there were seven groups before this year's elections, but now there will be one more. The European People's Party remains the strongest, followed by the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats, and the Patriots for Europe. ČT24 | Rozdělení do frakcí v Evropském parlamentu
Českou republiku v Evropském parlamentu zastupuje 21 europoslanců. Nejvíce zástupců má hnutí ANO, za ním je koalice Spolu. V Evropském parlamentu do letošních voleb bylo sedm frakcí, nyní ale bude o jednu víc. Nejsilnější zůstává Evropská lidová strana, za ní následuje Pokrokové spojenectví socialistů a demokratů a Patrioti pro Evropu. ČT24 | The first plenary session of the new European Parliament
MEPs will elect the new leadership of the European Parliament at the inaugural session in Strasbourg. Maltese MEP Roberta Metsola from the European People's Party is once again running for the position of president.
