Together with Slovakia, this puts the Czech Republic behind not only the Nordic countries, where corporal punishment was banned in the last century but also countries such as Turkmenistan, which adopted protective legislation in 2007.

Evropská zelená dohoda je jádrem současné klimatické strategie EU, která si stanovila za cíl učinit z Evropy do roku 2050 uhlíkově neutrální zemi. Ve snaze monitorovat a potírat dezinformační narativy o Zelené dohodě zahájil Beacon project vedený International Republican Institute iniciativu nazvanou "European Green Deal: Mapping perceptions in Central and Eastern Europe", v jejímž rámci šest partnerských organizací zkoumalo, jak je dohoda vnímána v Bulharsku, Česku, Polsku, Rumunsku a na Slovensku. Naše projektová manažerka a juniorská výzkumnice Tatiana Mindeková analyzovala narativy šířené o Zelené dohodě a zelené politice EU prostřednictvím českých řetězových e-mailů i vybraných mainstreamových médií a webových stránek známých šířením dezinformací.

iROZHLAS: Suspension of the Erasmus programme for Hungary? "Punishment and isolation of students."

Hungarian students from 21 universities are at risk of not being able to participate in the Erasmus+ education programme. The European Commission has temporarily cut them off. "The students who stand to lose the most from Erasmus are not the children of upper-middle-class parents, but those from smaller towns and rural areas. They don't have the means to travel abroad," Hungarist Oszkár Roginer, Global EU project manager at the EUROPEUM Institute, criticised the decision to iROZHLAS.cz.

Maďarským studentům z 21 univerzit hrozí, že se nebudou moci zapojovat do vzdělávacího programu Erasmus+. Evropská komise je dočasně odstřihla. „Studenti, kteří o Erasmus přijdou nejvíce, nejsou děti rodičů z vyšší střední třídy, ale ti z menších měst a venkova. Nemají prostředky na to, aby mohli vycestovat do zahraničí,“ kritizuje rozhodnutí pro iROZHLAS.cz hungarista Oszkár Roginer, projektový manažer Global EU z Institutu EUROPEUM.
