According to the EU, the entire life cycle of these batteries should be environmentally friendly, from production to use to disposal. Italy has a new government headed by Giorgia Meloni. She took over from her predecessor Mario Draghi on Sunday and was sworn in by President Sergio Mattarella on Saturday.
