Žiga Faktor finishes his MSc in International Politics at the University of Milano and a holds a BA in International Relations and European Studies from Metropolitan University Prague. During his studies, he spent one semester at the University of Limerick, Ireland, as an Erasmus+ exchange student. He joined EUROPEUM as an intern in 2018, then was a Project Manager and now is working as a Head of Brussels Office. He is also a member of Prague European Summit organizing team in the position of a Programme Manager. Previously, he worked with the Slovenian Embassy in Prague for several years. His research focuses on the European integration of Western Balkans, EU enlargement, Slovenian Politics and EU-US, EU-Turkey relations. Other points of interest include the rule of law and democratization and conflicts in former Yugoslavia and Northern Ireland.
