National Convention on EU Affairs: Current health challenges at the European level

Our institute is a professional guarantor of the National Convention on EU Affairs on the topic of current health challenges at the European level, which will take place online on Friday 5 March.

Vít Havelka, Vladimír Bartovic and Zuzana Kasáková prepared the background document for this round table debate.

The main topics of discussion are:

• Should the European Union be given additional powers in the field of public health?
• How should cross-border / transnational health cooperation be regulated?
• Should the EU build its own capacity to produce medical devices and to what extent should it have strategic reserves?
