On October 17 our Director Vladimír Bartovic was a guest of CT24 Studio, where he commented on the topics of the upcoming summit of EU ministers. The topics of the summit should cover the EU-Brexit talks, issues of migration, digital Europe, EU foreign policy, or the relocation of EU insitutitions based in Great Britain. For example, Prague would like to host the European Banking Authority (EBA).

It is not just a matter of prestige, it is also a signal that Prague could become one of the financial centers of the EU, right after Frankfurt, Paris or Dublin. It would have a practical relevance as well, as it could attract commerical banks or other institutions to, if not relocate to Prague, at least open a branch in Prague.

The full interview is available in Czech language in CT24 archive [11:36-17:30] here.
