Zuzana Picková

Research Fellow

Zuzana Picková was the first Head of the Brussels Office of the EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy. Europeum opened its Brussels branch in January 2016 with the view to strengthen the voice of the Czech Republic and other central and east European countries in the heart of the EU. Designing and implementing the Office’s strategy, Zuzana focused on four key activities: organizing events, connecting with partners, research and advocacy.

In addition, she enjoys public speaking and has been presenting and moderating at conferences. Her main areas of interests are the EU Better Regulation Agenda, Digital Single Market Strategy and developments regarding Brexit. Previously, Zuzana gained experience in the European Commission and the European Parliament and at the Czech Ministry of Education, working on strategic EU-funded projects. She studied political science and journalism in Prague and international relations at the University of Cambridge.
