Kristína serves as the Head of Operations at EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy. Committed to enhancing the institute's operational functions, refining processes, and ensuring seamless coordination across teams, projects, and activities, this role drives operational excellence. The work supports EUROPEUM’s mission to advance European policy and cooperation, focusing on maximizing efficiency and fostering a collaborative environment.
In her previous role as a Project Manager, Kristína concentrated on citizens´ engagement and educational programmes through the European Union’s Citizens, Equality, Rights, and Values (CERV) programmes. She was also responsible for the organization of several editions of the Prague European Summit, overseeing logistics, programming, and eventual overall management to create a platform for vital European discourse.
Kristína’s commitment to civic engagement and education reflects her interest in EU policies, institutions, and economic and trade issues. She is passionate about fostering initiatives that connect citizens to European policy discussions, supporting informed and active civic participation across the EU. She enjoys coffee, reading (sometimes even non-fiction) and travelling.

Czechs celebrated the 106th anniversary of the founding of Czechoslovakia in a nationwide state holiday. But despite the historically close links between Czechs and Slovaks, since Robert Fico's return as Slovakia's prime minister in 2023, there has been a distinct cooling in relations between the former sister states. Kristína Chlebáková, Project Manager of EUROPEUM Institute, spoke about Czech-Slovak relations for Prague Radio International.

This year, the EU has not declared the regime in Belarus authoritarian. Hungary vetoed such a decision. The newly elected Slovak President Peter Pellegrini will follow a long-standing tradition and his first foreign trip will be to the Czech Republic. Slovakians voted in the first round of presidential elections. The fiercest battle was between two politicians - as was expected - former Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini and opposition candidate and former foreign minister Ivan Korčok. The latter won the first round by surprising five percent diference. Slovak experts see the elections as crucial to determine the future political path of the country.
