Many myths, hoaxes, and lies circulate about the European Union. Despite the spread of this information, decisions in Brussels are not made "about us without us," and the European Union does not plan to ban curved cucumbers and bananas. Myths and disinformation about allegedly bad European officials and their bans spread in the Czech Republic even before joining the EU and persist to this day. What is the origin of these disinformation, and what are the most common myths?
