We would like to invite you to another in a series of debates of Café Evropa, this time on the topic of the rule of law in the EU. The debate is organized by the Representation of the European Commission in the Czech Republic, European Parliament office and the Institute for European Policy EUROPEUM. Our Christian Kvorning Lassen, in an interview for RTVS, commented on the overall situation in Germany, where the number of migrant asylum seekers was reduced. The decrease was also helped by the agreement with Turkey, which closed the Balkan Route or cooperation with Libya. The German Ministry of Interior however wants the numbers to be even lower.

Monika Brusenbauch Meislová wrote a policy paper on the topic "A Breath of Fresh Air, or the Winds of Change? CFSP after Brexit and Strategic Challenges for the Czech Republic." which deals with the European Security and Foreign Policy after the departure of the UK from the EU and the consequences for the Czech Republic.
