FLEET | Future Leaders Europe Evening Talks 2023

Registration for the third edition of the FLEET project is open!
19. October 2023

We are pleased to announce the launch of the third edition of the Future Leaders Europe Evening Talks. Join the programme for an unforgettable learning experience!

FLEET 2023 will consist of six enlightening sessions starting from September 18th, followed by two exclusive sessions during the Transatlantic Policy Forum (TAPF) week commencing from October 30th. Each session will delve into specific areas of transatlantic relations, shedding light on their significance and impact.

Transatlantic Policy Forum (TAPF) is a closed-door summit for decision-makers and opinion-formers co-organised by EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy with partners. TAPF has been held in Prague every Autumn since 2018 under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.

Are you passionate about transatlantic relations and eager to deepen your knowledge on this captivating subject? Look no further! We are thrilled to introduce an educational project designed to explore various aspects of transatlantic relations with renowned experts in the field.

A series of eight evening sessions throughout the autumn semester of 2023 will allow students to discuss a wide range of topics with experts from amongst high-ranking (current or former) Brussels officials, Ambassadors, Czech and European policy experts and decision makers, journalists and commentators. The sessions will take place at EUROPEUM’s premises (within the Prague Creative Center, Staroměstské náměstí 4/1, Prague 1) The talks will be structured into a short introductory lecture on the given topic by the expert (30 minutes maximum) and an open discussion of 60 minutes with strong emphasis on the Q & A structure for the participants. Unless specified otherwise, the talks will be held under the Chatham House Rule.

Every participant will obtain a certificate of attendance of the course. Selected participants will be invited to attend the prestigious TAPF event. Additionally, a research internship at EUROPEUM with prospects for further cooperation may be offered to the best participants.

In a nutshell: FLEET 2023 is a unique opportunity to engage with prominent leaders and influencers in the transatlantic community, open to all individuals interested in transatlantic relations. However, due to limited availability, we can only accommodate a maximum of 12 participants. Therefore, we encourage you to secure your spot early by registering for the project.

The one-time participation fee is 2000 CZK per selected applicant.

APPLY NOW by sending your CV and a short motivation letter to fleet@europeum.org. You can send the applications until the 21st of September!
