EuropaSecura 2016: First round of the competition is behind us!

First round of competition for high school students took place on March 29th and 30th. The total of 321 teams, each composed of three students, from all over the Czech Republic competed.

The first round tested students’ knowledge of EU, NATO, world conflicts and geography through an online test. 117 teams succeeded in the first round and qualified for the second round which will take place in May. Successful teams are now asked to conduct a security analysis and suggest recommendations for solving conflicts in surrounding countries such as Ukraine or Syria. The best teams will compete in the national round in mid-June.
