Timpul Prezent | European borders, EU enlargement and growing polarization in Slovakia

What are the borders of Europe and how do they coincide with the borders of the European Union? What are the prospects for EU enlargement towards the Western Balkans and the former Soviet states? The situation is difficult in Slovakia at the moment. On the one hand, we have the opposition expressing sympathy for the Prime Minister. On the other hand, we have government representatives blaming liberals and the media for what happened. Unfortunately, we can expect government measures against media independence, against certain NGOs, as well as further polarization of Slovak society.
