Donald Trump is running his politics like a reality show. American voters remain convinced that other countries are stealing from America, which is why the US is in economic trouble. Despite the potential economic consequences, the move is a major political and marketing success for Donald Trump.
Tariffs can potentially lead to major economic problems, depending on how individual countries respond, whether they impose retaliatory tariffs, which would be logical to avoid further and harsher tariff increases.
