STVR | Kosovo PM Kurti's party wins elections

The nationalist Self-Determination Party won the parliamentary elections in Kosovo. It won more than 45 percent of the vote, but lost its absolute majority in Parliament. Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti declared himself the winner of the election shortly after midnight. Research fellow at EUROPEUM Institute Jana Faktor Juzová commented for STVR.

The biggest source of citizen dissatisfaction that was reflected in the election results I see in the dismal economic situation and the fact that issues such as the quality of education, health care, which are very pressing for Kosovo citizens and despite great expectations and promises from Prime Minister Kurti, there has been no big shift.
