British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has organised a summit of European leaders on Sunday, where representatives of more than ten European countries will discuss Ukraine's security. Why were the Baltic countries not invited? Zuzana Krulichová, an analyst at the EUROPEUM Institute, commented for Radiožurnál.

Prime Minister Starmer held telephone talks with the Baltic countries in the morning before the meeting. I believe that Poland will, to some extent, act for them at today's summit. Prime Minister Tusk mentioned that there will also be discussions on strengthening NATO's eastern wing. The possibility that the United States might withdraw troops from the Baltic States may be discussed, but it is not certain at the moment.
