Radio Prostor | President Petr Pavel visited Moldova. What is the country's path to the Union?

I would describe the current relations as friendly and constructive. Moldova is a trade partner for the Czech Republic, one of the targets of Czech exports and one of the pilot countries for Czech development cooperation. The Czech Republic is also one of the main supporters of Moldova's European integration, which is also one of the objectives of President Peter Paul's visit.
Stability in Moldova is indeed very problematic. The majority is pro-Western and pro-democracy, but the role of Russia and its influence is extremely crucial. We have an unresolved conflict in Transnistria, which is a separatist region. Moldova's internal stability is not good, and its movement towards the EU is a thorn in the side of Vladimir Putin's Russian regime.
