NATO Warsaw Summit Conference: The future of NATO after Warsaw

Our Martin Michelot answers the question "What will be the biggest challenge for NATO between the summits?" following the conference organized in connection with the July summit of NATO in Warsaw.
7. November 2016

Our deputy director Martin Michelot is looking at the question of "What will be the biggest challenge for NATO between the summits?" following the International expert conference organized as the follow-up to the NATO Warsaw Summit 2016 by the Association for International Affairs (AMO) with kind support of the NATO Public Diplomacy Division and in cooperation with the Embassy of Poland in the Czech Republic.

The main priority for NATO before the Brussels summit will be to achieve the balance that the Warsaw summit has set out to create. In NATO, there are groups of countries that seem to have opposite priorities, which sometimes clash. Therefore, the goal will be for the big countries (the US, France, Germany) to create a balance and to keep the countries that feel more threatened safe.

Have a look at the whole statement in a video published on the AMO Youtube channel.
