Horizont ČT24 | Coalition of the Willing discusses Ukraine
Vladimir Putin has repeatedly shown that his word does not count and he is breaking his own agreements. Ukraine has already concluded a ceasefire with Russia once, the Minsk agreements and Russia has broken them. It must be clear, then, that any future ceasefire terms will indeed have to hold. Viktor Danek, deputy director of the EUROPEUM Institute, commented for Horizon ČT24.

It is important to remember that, in a situation where the United States is essentially joining Russia in putting pressure on Ukraine, our only chance to maintain the current security architecture in Europe is to help Ukraine.
Every military mission carries its own risks, even if it is a peacekeeping mission. But that is the very essence of why there should be foreign troops in Ukraine, so that Vladimir Putin understands that if a ceasefire is negotiated, it will have to be respected.
