Our Martin Michelot comments on the new funds distribution mechanism in the EU. What are the main issues with it?

Through this mechanism, more division is about to come between the 'west' and the 'east'. The leaders of countries that are already 'problematic' will not shy away from further negative promotion of the EU, leading to a decrease of pro-European sentiments. It will not lead to more polemics between Brussels and Poland, which are necessary in order to resolve their problems.
