Our Vladimir Bartovic commented on the Charlemagne Prize being awarded to Emmanuel Macron. Did he manage to influence the EU in his time as president?

President Macron has significantly influenced the EU. I believe he would have deserved the prize even in case he was not elected. He did not receive the prize purely for his effots as president, but also due to his influence on France during the elections.

Macron is making use of the fact that citizens' trust for the EU is on the rise, in order to make the EU progress in integration, especially in fields such as a unified internal market, education and security.
