Ten years have passed since the first and only Czech EU presidency in 2009. Our Vít Havelka commented on this anniversary for the Czech TV.

Vít Havelka said, that there were certain doubts about the ability of Czech Republic to successfully lead the EU. However these stemmed from the fact the Czech Republic was a member of the EU only since the year 2004. The questions were not about the internal politics of the Czech Republic itself as we can see now in the case of the first presidency of Romania.

Full interview with Vít is available in the Czech TV archive [3:16 - 8:55].
