Poland assumes the Presidency of the European Union for the second time in its history. The main priority will be to strengthen European security. What results can Poland actually achieve during its presidency? Viktor Daněk, deputy director of EUROPEUM Institute, commented for Czech Radio Dvojka.

The Poles have very aptly chosen security as the main task of their presidency. It is most appropriate. Not only in view of the situation on the continent, where war is actively taking place, but also in the context of the return of Donald Trump, who is a great unknown, precisely on the issue of security.
