INVITATION: Prague Climate Talks: Climate as an electoral topic: Czechia vs. Germany
The autumn of 2021 in the Central European region is marked by parliamentary elections - the citizens of the Czech Republic and Germany will elect a new government. While some topics will resonate in both countries, such as the recovery of the economy and society after the COVID-19 pandemic, other topics differ significantly in both countries.
How do Czech and German society approach the issue of climate and environmental protection? Will voters make decisions based on the parties' position on these issues? What is behind the rise of environmental issues in German politics? Will the Czech Republic follow this trend?
The invitation was accepted by:
- Adéla Jurečková, Director, Heinrich Böll Stiftung Prague
- Michal Berg, Co-Chair, Greens
- Josef Patočka, researcher, Re-set: platform for socio-ecological transformation
Host: Markéta Boubínová, Deník N
