INVITATION: Health Challenges in a post-Covid-19 World
Strategic investment in health infrastructures and innovation in the health industry became even more relevant as a consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic. Indeed, this crisis represented an unprecedented challenge to the management and response to public health crises on a global scale and made even more urgent a wider discussion about what is working and what needs to be improved.
The PPEU will aim to promote enhanced cooperation between the Member States in the health department by supporting the necessary actions to increase the responsiveness of services related to public health threats, and by supporting Member States’ efforts to produce and distribute a safe and accessible vaccine throughout Europe and the rest of the world.
Therefore, this conference aims to contribute to the debate about strategic investment in health infrastructures and innovation in the health industry in the world and, especially, in the European Union. It is intended not only to equate what has been done so far but also to raise new conclusions on what still lacks for a sufficient and efficient approach.
