INVITATION: EU± // Is the V4 the most important Czech ally in the EU?
What is the essence of cooperation within the Visegrad Four? Is it really a single bloc in the EU? What is the Czech approach to the Visegrad Group? To what extent will the elections in the Czech Republic affect cooperation within the V4? And how does the Visegrad Group differ from other regional organisations like Benelux or Nordic-Baltic?
These and other questions will be answered by:
- Vít Havelka, Research Fellow, EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy
- Michal Kořan, founder of the Global Arena Research Institute, Faculty of Social Studies, Masaryk University
- Kateřina Šafaříková, Foreign Correspondent in Brussels, Hospodářské noviny, Aktuálně and RESPEKT
The debate will be moderated by Tomáš Weiss, Department of European Studies, IMS, Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University.
The debate is organised with the support of the Jean Monnet Chair TeDEUSS - Teaching and debating EU small states' security at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University and co-funded by the European Union's Europe for Citizens programme. You can watch it here.
