Do Czech citizens have sufficient awareness of the Green Deal and the "Fit for 55" package and how should public institutions and the media communicate these topics to the public in an understandable way? The long-successful format of the Café Evropa debate has been running since 2015. The aim is to mediate discussions on European issues and the position of the Czech Republic in the EU to the general public. The discussing guests of Café Evropa are experts on the issue and representatives of European and Czech institutions. Since 2017, debates have been held not only in Prague but also in the Czech regions.

Although the EU is aware of the enormous benefits of AI in the daily lives of European citizens, its current low level of regulation could cause significant problems in the future. That is why, as part of its efforts to strengthen trustworthy AI, the European Commission approved the long-awaited Regulation on an European approach to AI in April 2021.
