Deník N | Climate change and the upcoming European elections

Climate change is an important topic that is increasingly appearing in various narratives in Czech political discourse. Our researcher Klára Votavová writes about environmental issues and the subsequent political response in her new commentary for Deník N, where she presents findings from the RevivEU project.

"Among the most interesting findings of the climate chapters of the project was that Czechs, Slovaks, Poles and Hungarians do not question the existence of man-made climate change and believe that it is a serious problem that needs to be addressed as soon as possible. Even among the Czechs, who are the most sceptical of the Visegrad Group according to the RevivEU survey, three quarters of respondents recognise the seriousness of the problem and the need to address it urgently."
