ČT24: EU summit - energy and support for Ukraine

Representatives of EU Member States met in Brussels to discuss energy and Ukrainian support. Poland's opposition to the financial package received great attention. Our senior research fellow Jana Jůzová commented for ČT24.

"The European Union has been relatively slow in releasing the funds it promised to Ukraine as part of its aid. Further delays and stalling is not only seen very negatively, but also poses practical problems for Ukrainians. It is a black mark on the EU's reputation. It is surprising that the rejectionist attitude is now also coming from Poland."
