Report from our round table on the topic of structural transitions of coal regions is now available.

  • On Wednesday 3rd April 2019, we co-organised a discussion at the European House on the topic of structural transformation of European coal regions. We welcomed speakers from the Czech Republic (Gabriela Nekolová, national manager of RE:START), Slovakia (Ladislav Šimko, Office of the Government of the Slovak Republic), Germany (Katja Müller, Zukunftswerkstatt Lausitz) and the EU (Andreas von Busch, DG REGIO). The round table was moderated by Anna Kárníková from Centre for Transport and Energy. The event was co-organised by Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy and Centre for Transport and Energy.
