INVITATION: European Citizens' Initiative as a tool to shape Europe

We would like to cordially invite you to a half-day knowledge-sharing workshop that is part of the 2018 Festival of Democracy.

WHEN?

Keen to share knowledge about how to make citizen-powered democracy work? On 5 October 2018, the European Citizens’ Initiative Roadshow is travelling to Prague, the Czech Republic!

Join us at the European Commission Representation Office in Prague from 8.30 to 12.30 to meet like-minded citizens, businesses, academics, and NGOs and talk about ways to influence European policy-making together.

WHAT?

The half-day knowledge-sharing workshop Take The Initiative: European Citizens’ Initiative as a tool to shape Europe is part of the 2018 Festival of Democracy and is organized with the support of EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy. Together we will search for answers to some questions of great significance: How to make pan-European democracy work? In what ways can citizen participation contribute to good governance? How to turn protest and activism into actual change? How to encourage citizens to use their power to make change?
