INVITATION: Prague Climate Talks: Renewable energy in the V4

We are proud to present the third event from our pilot project Prague Climate Talks: Renewable energy in the V4, which will take place on November 6th, 2017, at the European house.

Prague Climate Talks is a new project aimed at establishing a platform for continued high-level discussion on the complex issue of climate change. Throughout a series of debates it will bring together experts and professionals from varying relevant fields as well as members of the general public.

The debate will focus on evaluating the current state of renewable energy use in the V4 countries. It will discuss its main obstacles (political, economic, strategic etc.), the question of subsidies, competitiveness and security of supply, as well as the projections for the future developments of the renewable sector in the region.

Confirmed speakers:

  • Petr Hösl, PV and Hydro Lead, ČEZ Renewable Energy Division
  • Vojtěch Kotecký, Analyst, Glopolis
  • Petr Rokůsek, Founder, Nano Energies

The debate will be moderated by Christian Kvorning Lassen, EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy.
