In an interview for RTVS, our deputy director Martin Michelot commented on Emmanuel Macron's recent attempt to improve relations with the French army and police, following his popularity rating drop.

Poslední týdny čelil kritice, a proto se rozhodl udělat něco nenapadnutelného: dát medaili bezpečnostním složkám, aby vytvořil pozitivnější vnímání svého jednání. Účastí na pietní vzpomínce [na vraždu kněze Jacquese Hamela] se pokusil překlenout již citelný propad preferencí. Od zvolení přišel o pětinu příznivců. Získat je chce i tím, že ukáže ráznost v boji proti terorismu. Je to politický marketing. Chce ukázat, že bude efektivně a odhodlaně bojovat proti terorismu. Během kampaně byl kritizován za to, že v této oblasti není dostatečně aktivní.
