The Future of the Visegrad Group

Think-tank 'Das Progressive Zentrum', in cooperation with the 'Foundation for European Progressive Studies', publishes a new title focused on the future of the Visegrad Group countries.

"The Future of the Visegrad Group" examines internal developments within the Visegrad Group and sketches scenarios for its engagement at the European level. Our Tereza Novotná and Zuzana Stuchlíková contributed with a chapter focused on the relation of the Czech public vis-a-vis the European Union.

Because of this lacking institutionalisation the V4 cooperation often ended up focusing either on low-level technical aspects or on a controversial topic. (...) Using the V4 as a platform for confrontation rather than for making constructive proposals is not the best way to portray itself as a trustworthy partner within the EU.

If you are intersted in the V4 region and would like to read more, the full publication is available as an ebook at Das Progressive Zentrum website.
