Representatives of the European Parliament are elected directly by the citizens of the EU Member States. MEPs should defend the national interest of the countries they represent, how are the Czech representatives doing? Ondřej Mocek's policy paper analyzes the weaknesses of the coordination of Czech MEPs and the Permanent Representation of the Czech Republic in the EU and seeks to answer the question of how the promotion of national interests on European level could be improved.
