Electricity has to be primarily competitive
Michal Vít interviewed Miroslav Marvan, former director of OTE. In the interview for energymotejlek.com, they discussed for instance the implications of low electricity prices, renewable energy subsidies, or the use of modern technologies.

"I like nuclear power, if only it was cheaper. Right now it is uncompetitive. Technological developments in this field are otherwise fantastic. I don't know if someone realizes it, but Temelín was launched as one of the last nuclear power plants in Europe. If I exaggerate a little bit, it is a technological little miracle. And the people who built it were true fanatics, in a good sense," says Miroslav Marvan, former head of OTE.
