After the elections, I expect a return to a more decisive policy. And I hope that will be the case.
If Donald Trump continues to strengthen ties with Russia or actually tries to negotiate a deal on Ukraine without European consensus, Germany, under new leadership, will likely have to take on greater responsibility for European security.
