EUROPEUM joins in an open letter in support of Alexej Navalny

The director of the Institute for European Policy EUROPEUM, Vladimír Bartovic, together with representatives of Amnesty International and the Association for International Affairs, signed an open letter addressed not only to Russian representatives but also to Czech Foreign Minister Jakub Kulhánek and Prime Minister Andrei Babiš.

The organizations express concerns about the health and safety of Alexej Navalny. We call on the Government of the Czech Republic to use its opportunity to call on the Russian political representatives to independently review his health, allow access to independent observers and, in particular, review the legitimacy of his detention.

Along with the letter, an online petition has been announced. It almost reached its goal to collect 7000 signatures. It can be signed here.
