Denník N: Macron is turning 40 having high approval ratings both at home and in Slovakia

Our Martin Michelot was quoted in an article published in Slovak Denník N on Emmanuel Macron's achievements and failiures in the office of President of the French Republic.

Macronovi pri presadzovaní nového zákonníka práce pomohlo najmä to, že proti nemu nebola ucelená opozícia, a to ani zo strany odborov.

Vo Francúzsku zvolením Macrona nastala nezvyčajná situácia, a to, že fakticky nemáme žiadnu opozíciu. Je tam síce Jean-Luc Mélenchon (radikálny ľavičiar, pozn. red.), ten však nereprezentuje väčšinu Francúzska. Vďaka tomu Macron dokáže presadzovať aj nepopulárne kroky.

Aj Francúzi samotní si začínajú uvedomovať, že ich krajina je v EÚ dôležitá, čo tu nebolo azda od čias zjednotenia Nemecka.
