More than half a million foreigners have no right to stay in Germany. Despite this, the authorities are not able to expel them. The German government has even increased its financial contribution in the case of voluntary departure, but it has been used only by about 4500 people. Is it better to invest directly in the countries from where the migrants come from?
Minister [Gerd Müller] in the proposal mentions a concrete example of an agreement with the German Siemens factory in Iraq where 5000 new electricians would be trained. Providing them with a qualification is a good idea and motivation for them to return, investing in education can improve their future.
