Our director Vladimír Bartovic commented for Info.cz on the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) criticism of Poland stemming from the warning that such constitutional changes would lead to political pressure on the judicial system of the country.

Visegrad už je ale v poslední době stejně rozpadlý na dvě poloviny. Jedna je Česko a Slovensko, ta druhá Polsko a Maďarsko. Následky nemusely být závažné ani v případě, pokud by k sankcím unie skutečně sáhla.

Ono to není tak jednoduché. Na omezení hlasovacích práv by musela být jednomyslná shoda mezi členskými státy a maďarský premiér Orbán už dal najevo, že bude proti.

Skeptický je Bartovic i ke schopnostem polské vlády novelu, kterou parlament začne projednávat začátkem dubna, prosadit. Na její podporu podle něj nesežene potřebnou většinu hlasů.
