Minimálně do příštího léta bude ukrajinské obilí dále bezcelně proudit na evropský trh. Dohoda, které EU dosáhla s členskými zeměmi, tak odstranila zákaz trvající několik týdnů. I přes zažehnanou krizi se ovšem naplno ukázalo, jak křehká je vize budoucího připojení Ukrajiny k Unii a jaké výzvy ji na této cestě čekají. Ve svém policy paperu se Benedetta Milani zabývá obchodní dohodou mezi EU a jihoamerickým sdružením volného obchodu Mercosur. Obchod mezi EU a Mercosurem bude ale muset na své schválení ještě nějakou dobu počkat, a to proto, že dohoda musí být schválena národními parlamenty 27 členských států EU a 4 partnerskými zeměmi Mercosur (Argentina, Brazílie, Paraguay, Uruguay).

The transition to clean technologies, research, development, and production, can no longer be perceived purely as a question of reducing emissions, but also as a question of maintaining competitiveness on the global market. The green race has started and the Czech Republic should step up.
