Náš výzkumný pracovník Vít Havelka se ve svém policy paperu snaží poskytnout přehled o tom, v jaké fázi příprav na předsednictví se Česká republika v současné době nachází, a konkrétně rozvádí, jaká témata by si Česko mohlo zvolit jako své priority. Metodologicky je článek rozdělen do tří samostatných částí, které odpovídají třem různým úrovním programové struktury: politické priority, priority na úrovni trojice a priority na úrovni veřejných služeb.

On December 15, the very last debate of 2020 from the series EU± took place. The debate was organized by the EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy and the Department of European Studies of FSV UK. The topic of „Portuguese and Czech Presidency of the EU Council” was discussed by Ambassador of Portugal to the Czech Republic Luís de Almeida Sampaio, our Associate Research Fellow Zuzana Stuchlíková and former Permanent Representative to the EU Milena Vicenová. The debate took place in English and was charied by Tomáš Weiss, researcher, and head of the Department of European Studies FSV UK.

15. prosince proběhla poslední online debata roku 2020 ze série EU± pořádaná Institutem pro evropskou politiku EUROPEUM a Katedrou evropských studií FSV UK. Na téma „Portugalské a české předsednictví v Radě EU“ debatovali velvyslanec Portugalska v ČR Luís de Almeida Sampaio, naše výzkumná pracovnice Zuzana Stuchlíková a bývalá stálá zástupkyně při EU Milena Vicenová. Debata probíhala v anglickém jazyce a moderoval ji Tomáš Weiss, výzkumník a vedoucí Katedry evropských studí FSV UK.

We are delighted to announce the launch of a project focused on support for independent Serbian journalists reporting on Serbia’s EU integration process, its obstacles in the field of democratic governance, and the rule of law and fundamental rights and freedoms, including the freedom of media. The project is supported by the Transition Promotion Program of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic and implemented together with the Centre for Contemporary Politics from Serbia.
