This event was attended by 15 experts from think tanks and representatives of EU institutions.

Dne 18. dubna 2024 uspořádala bruselská kancelář Institutu EUROPEUM ve spolupráci s bruselskou kanceláří Polského institutu mezinárodních vztahů (PISM) v rámci platformy Think Visegrad diskusi s názvem "Regionální spolupráce ve střední Evropě po válce s Ruskem: změny a vyhlídky". Této akce se zúčastnilo 15 odborníků z think tanků a zástupců institucí EU.

The Think Visegrad platform, which brings together think tanks from the Visegrad countries, including the EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy, is offering eight visiting fellowships to non-Visegrad expert fellows for the period Summer/Autumn/Winter of 2024. The duration of fellowships varies from 6 to 8 weeks (based on agreement with the hosting institute).

On 10 and 11 April 2024, Prague will host a two-day conference entitled "20 Years of Reuniting Europe's East and West", organised by EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as part of the Think Visegrad platform and the project (Re)uniting the East and West: Reflections on the 2004 EU enlargement (REWEU) supported by the International Visegrad Fund and the European Commission. The programme will also include the second edition of the EU Enlargement Forum.

Ve dnech 10. a 11. dubna 2024 se v Praze uskuteční dvoudenní konference s názvem "20 Years of Reuniting Europe's East and West", kterou pořádá Institut pro evropskou politiku EUROPEUM ve spolupráci s Ministerstvem zahraničních věcí v rámci platformy Think Visegrad a projektu (Re)uniting the East and West: Reflections on the 2004 EU enlargement (REWEU) podpořených Mezinárodním visegrádským fondem a Evropskou komisí. Součástí programu bude i druhý ročník EU Enlargement Forum.

The current format of the Visegrad Group lacks common topics; the group fragmented into two pairs that have different opinions in many areas, particularly regarding the issue of Ukraine. However, the interests of Hungary and Slovakia are not in conflict with others, despite what their leaders claim. The conflict in the Middle East, where the Czech Republic is in the minority in its full support of Israel, was also discussed on this meeting. Viktor Daněk, deputy director of EUROPEUM Institute, commented on the situation within the V4 for TN Live.

Současný formát států V4 momentálně nemá společná témata, skupina se rozdělila do dvou dvojic, které se rozcházejí v názorech na mnoho oblastí, zejména v otázce Ukrajiny. Zájmy Maďarska a Slovenska však nejsou v rozporu s ostatními, i když to tvrdí jejich lídři. Na setkání se také mluvilo o konfliktu na Blízkém východě, kde je Česko v menšině ve své plné podpoře Izraele. Summit ministrů zahraničí a situaci ve V4 komentoval pro TN Live zástupce ředitele Institutu EUROPEUM Viktor Daněk.

The populist camps in the Visegrad Four countries have used the farmers' protests in their populist campaigns for the European Parliament elections in June. A fundamental change to the last EU elections in 2019 is visible in the politicians' messages towards the people, with social media taking over the classic platforms such as television, press or radio. Populistické tábory v zemích Visegrádské čtyřky využily protesty zemědělců ve svých kampaních k červnovým volbám do Evropského parlamentu. Zásadní změna oproti posledním eurovolbám v roce 2019 je patrná ve formě sdělení politiků směrem k lidem. Sociální sítě přebírají důležitost klasických platforem, jako je televize, tisk nebo rozhlas.
